I've started making parts for the Derby 'What if machine'. I want to run ball bearings along girders for part of my machine so I drew out a test rail today. I was quite surprised by how small the incline needs to be to get the ball rolling.
I tried to use this motor in a previous project and the mount was really naff and the whole project was a bit of a failure (will post it at a later date). A simple project just to mount the motor securely against a surface. This just needs 3 holes in the surface it is to be fixed against, expect to see this is another project soon too.
